A very rare Robert Wallace Martin glazed stoneware tankard inscribed “R.W.Martin, London, 10 (October) 1876”.
Height; 13 cms/5 inches.
Condition: In very good condition, although the handle has been expertly and professionally reattached with pins, as shown in the photographs. Otherwise no cracks or chips.
Provenance: Estate of a Sydney antiques dealer, acquired from a collector in the 1980s
